YOGA IN SAFE HOUSES

Apart from legal, medical and accommodation support given to victims or survivors of family and sexual violence, there is limited assistance to assist victims and survivors to recover mentally and emotionally from their traumatic experiences. Having yoga classes, meditation and breathing exercises available for survivors and victims will go a long way in assisting them to heal, forgive and recover which they can really practice on their own at any time. Yoga help remove or overcome trauma, fears and stress and help in their recovery process.
